It all started with the simple idea of establishing a place to serve quality local coffee to our locals at a reasonable price. Real coffee for people. From those humble beginnings the legend of Kuranda Coffee Republic was born. Many visitors to our beautiful part of the world found us at the Original Markets, drawn by the aroma or directed by one of our locals. The quality and freshness of the coffee so impressed that many requests for beans were made. And why should everyone but the locals miss out? So due to popular demand we now sell our beans from our shop in Kuranda and deliver Tropical North Queensland's world-class coffee to you all over Australia within days of roasting.
Many of you have passed through Kuranda and been able to taste what it's all about and that's why you've logged on. No pretense, damn fine coffee. It's good to see you again. To those unfamiliar - we'd lve to see you in Kuranda one day, but you can still enjoy our beans at home.

Coffee Shop and Roasting
Kuranda Coffee Republic is now at a new and exciting location in Kuranda, much more central, opposite the post office. Chill out and enjoy Kuranda's best coffee and the eclectic, funky vibe of our new cool spot.
We roast almost every day for maximum freshness, coaxing the best flavour from the beans and creating distinct, delicious, single origin coffees on our gorgeous hand made roaster.
Mike then takes it one step further - his coffees are works of art and feats of engineering designed for your drinking pleasure.
