It all started with the simple idea of establishing a place to serve quality local coffee to our locals at an affordable price. Really - coffee for people. From those humble beginnings the legend of Kuranda Coffee Republic was born. Many visitors to our beautiful part of the world have also passed through the Original Rainforest Markets, drawn by the aroma or sent down by one of our local fans. The quality and freshness of the coffee so impressed that many requests for beans were made. And why should everyone but the locals miss out? So due to popular demand we now sell our beans on site and deliver Tropical North Queensland's world-class coffees to you within days of roasting.
Many visitors to this site may have passed through Kuranda and been able to taste the beans and that's why you're here. No pretense, damn fine coffee. It's good to see you again. To the those unfamiliar - we hope to see you on holiday in Kuranda one day, but you can still enjoy our beans at home.

Kuranda Coffee Republic is located in the Kuranda Original Rainforest Markets in Tropical North Queensland. Renowned for its resident artisans of all mediums, one can sense the creative energy in the air.
We roast every day for maximum freshness, coaxing the best flavour from the beans and creating distinct, delicious, single origin coffees.
Mike then takes it one step further - his coffees are works of art and feats of engineering designed for your drinking pleasure.
